A former Vogue cover model, Jill Dodd lifted veils on her life as a pleasure wife for Saudi billionaire, Adnan Khashoggi. At the time, the model was a 21-year-old young girl who was with worlds richest man, an arms dealer from Saudi Arabia.
Jill, who is now 58, spoke on Channel Nine’s 60 minutes about her life then. According to the Daily Mail, Adnan was 30 at the time. Dodd revealed that she was a naive little girl at the age of 21 who had a successful career and didn’t care about other details at that point.
Revealing further details on her interview on Channel Nine’s 60 Minutes on Sunday night, she said: “He pulled up my sleeve and he wrote ‘I love you’ I was like oh my god that’s blood and I was kind of shocked, but I thought it was funny and cute.”
In that very instant, she fell in love with the father of 5, who also happened to have 10 other ‘pleasure wives’. The Saudi law allowed up to 12 women who can serve as pleasure wives at a time. This was the reason as to why the billionaire wished to pursue a relationship with the hot model.
The Currency of Love: A Courageous Journey to Finding the Love Within, a memoir that is written by Jill reveals: “In that moment, I become a member of Adnan’s harem, taking turns with other women to have sex with the man I love.”
Jill told Peter Stefanovic, host of the 60 Minutes’ show that: “He said, ‘I want to take care of you. I want to make a five-year contract with you. I’ll provide everything for you and you will be at my beck and call 24 hours a day’.”
Immediately, Ms. Dodd took a decision and became a part of Kashoggi’s harem, to become his pleasure wife number 11 – which she doesn’t regret up to date. She says she never thought of herself as a prostitute or otherwise any other derogatory term. She assumed it was a relationship and addressed Khashoggi as her boyfriend.
Life as a Pleasure Wife:
Life as Kashoggi’s pleasure wife was extremely happening, explains the former model. She had many drug-fueled evenings and nights. She attended lavish parties alongside royalties and other business tycoons around the globe.
The model added: “He had this whole compound with several suites … several different cottages around it.
“I had my own cottage and Adnan’s cottage or Adnan’s house or the portion of the compound was private.
“So when I saw him, I would be alone with him in his place or he would come see me in my cottage.”
Jill believes Khashoggi was paying modeling agencies a huge amount to get access to these gorgeous young women around the globe to come to his parties and have sex with him or his friends.
She said: “We did (cocaine) recreationally. We would lock ourselves in a room for days, we would make love, we would eat, the chef would bring us food.”
Seven years into the relationship and Ms. Dodd demanded monogamy to which Khashoggi refused. They split and the model finally left the harem at that point.
She continued her life and found popular surf brand Roxy. The former model is now a mum of a 32-year-old son and two daughters, aged 22 and 17.
Miss Dodd’s relationship with the Saudi billionaire is present in the memoir, The Currency of Love: A Courageous Journey to Finding the Love Within. The book published this June, however, the subject of the book will not be able to read it since he passed away at the age of 81, this year.
